The multifunctional MB-Secure PRO central unit is the result of the logical and technical advancement of the proven MB-Secure, designed for the integration of highly flexible and powerful intrusion detection and access control solutions.
The proven backward-compatible multi-protocol interfaces, supplemented with two Fast Ethernet and two LTE/4G interfaces as well as 8 detector group inputs- and outputs, ensure backward compatibility combined with the latest communication technology.
The contemporary hardware design and the use of state-of-the-art components make compromising important information impossible.
Sensitive communication, as well as stored data and operational firmware, are encrypted with the support of a special cryptographic co-processor with a secure key storage, complying with the highest industry and security standards.
Cutting-edge authentication methods minimize the attack surface on vulnerable communication interfaces.
The use of the latest operating systems and regular security updates, according to ISA 62443-4-1 development process, ensure maximum cybersecurity to protect sensitive data throughout the system.
The MB-Secure PRO is configured using the fully backward-compatible and enhanced IQ PanelControl software package. This allows for easy conversion of existing programming during parameter loading, supported by many new features that simplify programming, such as templates, wizards, copy functions, and verification options. Communication can be done directly via USB, Ethernet, or remotely through the connection server.
The MB-Secure PRO is complemented by a new LTE/4G module, of which up to two can be space-savingly mounted on the inside of the also redesigned enclosures.
The proven licensing concept of the MB-Secure PRO, supported by a completely revamped licensing portal, allows for individual expansion in terms of areas, detector groups, users, macros, etc., as well as additional applications such as access control and communication protocols, enabling cost-effective complete solutions using a single system.
The integration of intrusion detection and access control functionality into an integrated system provides the highest level of investment security. It offers full flexibility even in changing requirements, including existing installations, and allows for expanding the functionality without replacing the system.
The interfaces of the board are almost identical to the MB-Secure. This also allows for migration to the new central unit series while retaining as much existing hardware as possible, such as BUS-2 or BUS-1 modules, IB2, or Modulbus/RS-485 devices.
The modular product range consisting of central boards, expansion modules, power supplies, and empty enclosures enables cost-effective configurations tailored to the specific requirements of the installation. These are complemented by power supply units with BUS-2 communication, allowing for distributed power supply while fully monitoring all system states.
The compatibility of the MB-Secure PRO with the current BUS-2 modules portfolio ensures cost-effective installations. The continuous development of the compatible BUS devices range safeguards previous investments.
The visually appealing control panels in LED, LED/LCD, and touch technology enable easy and secure operation of the MB-Secure system. They feature user-friendly interfaces that ensure reliable operation.
Thanks to the two integrated and independant Ethernet interfaces, cost-effective connections to WINMAG plus, IQ MultiAccess, IQ SystemControl, as well as third-party management systems and IT systems are possible, without the need of additional hardware modules.
The pronounced modularity is emphasized by the possibility of combining computer boards and their functions with enclosures, power supplies, and desired peripherals in a completely flexible manner.
