The comprehensive solution for all applications
The permanent protection of buildings against entry by unauthorized persons as well as the uncontrolled exit of a zone are basically contrary to the legal requirements that demand that it must also be possible to exit a building without hindrance in the event of an emergency.
The Doorguard that is now available on the market is a product that not only fullfils both these requirements but also has an attractive design and is flexible in use.
The units enable simultaneous control and monitoring of the opening of emergency exit doors.
The Doorguard is available in two different versions with varying connection technology:
- Doorguard for MB panels BUS-2
- Doorguard hardwired version
The Doorguard for MB panels BUS-2 is suitable for integrating into BUS-2 networks with connection to an intruder alarm control panel.
The Doorguard hardwired version is intended for self-sufficient applications solely for monitoring emergency exit doors without connection to an IACP.
The units can be easily installed on site. The operating unit and alarm signalling device can be installed either separately or as a combined unit to meet the specific requirements of the building or application.
The door contacts (release contacts) at the doors that require monitoring trigger the alarm. In the event of unauthorized opening of the emergency exit door, an acoustical and optical signal is emitted on site.
Authorized opening
If the emergency exit door requires opening by an authorized person, the monitoring of this door can be deactivated by releasing. This enables authorized persons to enter the building through the door once or several times depending on the programming without triggering a signal.
The release of the emergency exit door is indicated at the operating unit via the green LED “Operating state”. Release is possible directly at the unit via the half cylinder and/or the reader (for IK2 / IK3 ID data carriers) that is integrated in the Doorguard for MB panels BUS-2.
Integrated system device for monitoring emergency exit doors, with operating option as well as local optical and acoustic alarm that can be switched off.
With integrated mifare classic/mifare DESFire as well as proX (IK2/IK3) reader and BUS-2 connection for MB-Secure or MB-Classic and 4 universally programmable detector group inputs for monitoring contacts or for connecting an external key switch.
Due to the complete integration into the MB-Secure a monitoring of all system states as well as the control of all outputs e.g. by macros is possible.
The system is operated by mifare DESFire or proX system transponders, whose authorizations and room time zones can be defined either directly in the MB panel or by a higher-level IQ-MultiAccess or IQ-SystemControl software. At the same time, all events and activities are stored in the MB panel.
Various and highly flexible releases that can be freely programmed by the control center are possible, such as short-term release, permanent release, with/without reminder, time-limited, with automatic active switching, alarm stop and many more.
Local feedback on the current system status is provided by two LEDs (green and red) to avoid operating errors.
In addition, the installation of a profile half cylinder is possible if no transponders are available or as an additional operating option.
The optical/acoustic alarm can be triggered locally or by the control panel and can be recognized in almost all environments.
The universal, robust housing design allows flexible mounting with variable cable feed and remote/raised mounting of the alarm unit, ensuring optimum visibility while maintaining easy access for operation.
For solder-free mounting, all connections are designed as high-quality screw terminals.
