Integrated heating
The LMS1xx laser measurement system presents itself as a "small" and cost-effective alternative within the family of SICK laser measurement systems and to other existing solutions, especially when high ranges and speeds are not the primary consideration. The system is handy in size and weight, space-saving with transmitter and receiver in one housing, low in purchase price and operating costs. The innovation, on the other hand, is "big": the multi-echo technology increases availability outdoors and even enables installation behind glass.
Simple integration into the Honeywell intruder alarm systems of the MB series via a tested interface in conjunction with e.g. a DUO I/O module (010120.17) to the BUS-2.
* Note on planning/implementation in outdoor areas:
When planning, any shading and attenuation of the laser light, e.g. due to air outlets where steam is generated, as well as uneven ground, shading by objects, e.g. building edges, stairs, entrances, trees, antennas, etc. must be taken into account. If these conditions are not known in the planning phase, an on-site inspection is essential for the final planning in order to determine the exact positioning and number of laser scanners.
